Oats Dosa

Ingredients

– Oats – 1 cup
– Salt – as needed
– Rice Flour – ¼ cup
– Wheat Flour – ¼ cup
– Semolina – 1 tablespoon
– Cumin Seeds – ½ teaspoon
– Curry Leaves – 1 sprig
– Ginger (minced) – ½ teaspoon
– Green Chilly (chopped) – 2
– Onion (chopped) – 2 tablespoons
– Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
– Curd – ¼ cup
– Water – 1½ cup
– Oil – as needed
Method

1. Powder oats to fine powder in a blender.
2. In a bowl, add powdered oats, salt, rice flour, wheat flour, semolina, cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger, green chillies, chopped onions, coriander leaves, curd and water. Mix well to form a free flowing batter.
3. Add more water to get the required consistency. The consistency must be similar to that of the rava dosa batter.
4. Heat a dosa tawa. Pour the batter all around the tawa. Do not spread the batter. Just pour it and fill up the gaps.
5. Sprinkle ghee on the dosa and around its edges. Cook the dosa until it turns golden on the base. When it is cooked you will see the edges begin to leave the tawa.
6. Fold the dosa and remove from heat.
7. Serve with chutney. Enjoy!
