HEALTHY Fall COCKTAIL Recipes – Apple Pie Mimosa – Kombucha Sangria – Oh My Pumpkin Chai

Fall is getting into full swing and Abbey has come up with some unique, healthy, and delicious Fall Cocktail Recipes to help you celebrate the changing of the seasons in style.

As many of you know Abbey is a fan of cocktails. What she is not a fan of is the double-whammy sugar and booze hangover that you get from extra boozy sugar loaded drinks. To combat this issue Abbey developed a technique she calls “Balanced Boozing”. It basically involves going easy on the liquor in her cocktails, avoiding the super sugary drinks, and having a few sips of water between each sip of alcohol.

Keeping that in mind Abbey created 3 great cocktail recipes, each with it’s own special flair. The first of which is the “Oh My Pumpkin Chai cocktail. Start by bringing water to a boil in a small saucepan, add in some diced pears, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, ginger, pumpkin pie spice, and finally some lemon juice. Cover this and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Now add in a Chai teabag and some vanilla then let it set it until fully cooled. Using a slotted spoon remove all of the pear, ginger and tea bits and set them aside. To make your cocktail add 1 oz of bourbon into to shaker along with 1 1/2 oz of your pumpkin mixture and some ice. Shake this until well chilled and strain it into a cup. Top this with a bit of club soda and garnish with a little candied ginger.

Her next fall cocktail is the “Apple Pie Mimosa”. Lightly wet the rim of a champagne glass and dip it into some brown cinnamon. Add 2 oz of apple cider into your champagne glass and top that off with 3 oz of sparkling wine. Garnish this with a slice of apple.

Her third, and final Fall Cocktail Recipe is for an “Apple and Cranberry Kombucha Sangria”. In a large pitcher mix together one bottle of white wine, 2 cups of ginger kombucha, sliced apples, sliced lemons, and lastly some frozen cranberries. Stir this all together well and you’re done. This may very well be the easiest of the 3 cocktail recipes to put together and a perfect fit for an afternoon cocktail hour on your day off.

Now you have 3 outstanding cocktail recipes to share with your friends in celebration of fall. So what are you waiting for? Those drinks aren’t going to make themselves!
