Turkish Iftar Menu For Crowds / Kebab & Veggies, Dessert, Side dishes and more.

Get ready to watch this delicious “iftar – dinner” menu that I prepared for the crowded family meeting. We had a big family iftar, but it was last year and I haven’t had time to edit the video since the end of Ramadan. I kept them to share with you this year without knowing that these records would be much more valuable.

Ingredients For Kebab & Veggies: (For 12-15 Serving, You can half the amount for less)
1 kg. beef or lamb meat, cut in cubes (Don’t pre-cook if you are using lamb)
5-6 eggplants
5-6 zucchinis
4-5 potatoes
5-6 green sweet peppers
vegetable oil to fry
For the base
5 tbsp olive oil
2-3 onions
1 tbsp tomato paste
3-4 ripe tomatoes
4-5 cloves of garlic
salt, oregano, hot red pepper (whole or crushed, add as desired)
hot water

Ingredients For Apricot Compote:
4 cups dried apricots
2 liters
1to 1+1/2 cups sugar (As much as you desire)
After cooking you can always add more cold water for consistency for enough water and fruit pieces
