Hot Chocolate – serves 2
Ingredients
– 2C Milk (feel free to sub with any dairy free)
– 1 cinnamon stick
– 3T unsweetened cocoa powder
– 2-4T condensed milk
– 1/2t vanilla extract
– 1 pinch of sea salt
– 2T homemade whipped cream
* keep the stove on medium low and warm but don’t let it boil!
Serve with whipped cream topping.
Whipped Cream
– 1C heavy whipping cream
– 1/2t vanilla extract
– 1/4C powder sugar
Apple & Gouda Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
– sourdough bread
– gouda cheese
– honey crisp apples
– fig jam
– spicy mustard
– butter
* This one is pretty self explanatory 😀 My only tip is to keep the stove on medium low so the cheese has time to melt all the way without burning the bread. If the bread is browning too fast before the cheese is melting then turn the stove down.
Maple Baked Pears
– pears
– maple syrup
– cinnamon
– nuts of choice – I used Maracona Almonds
– brown sugar
– whipped topping – 2 parts of homemade whipped cream and 1 part cream cheese
* Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Drizzle pears with maple syrup and cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top pears with chopped nuts and brown sugar. Broil for 3 minutes(or until browned). Serve with whipped topping. Garnish with maple syrup and cinnamon.
