Onion Rings from Maimoona Yasmeen’s Recipes
Ingredients:
Pyaaz/Onions (big): 2
Besan/chickpea flour: 1 & 1/4th cup
Cornflour: 2 tablespoons
Bareek namak/salt: ½ teaspoon
Haldi powder/turmeric powder: 1/4th teaspoon
Khane ka soda/baking soda: 1/4th teaspoon
Lal mirch powder/red chilli powder: 1 ½ teaspoon
Zeera/cumin powder: ½ teaspoon
Adrak lehsan ka paste/ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Paani/water: 3/4th cup
Tel/oil: talne ke liye/for frying
Procedure:
1. Besan mein corn flour daliye.
2. Bareek namak, haldi powder, baking soda, lal mirch powder, zeera powder, adrak lehsan ka paste aur pani daliye.
3. Achhi tarah se mila lijiye aur rakh dijiye.
4. Pyaaz ke bade size ke rings alag kar lijiye aur chhote rings koi aur istemaal ke liye rakh dijiye.
5. Talne ke liye tel daliye. Jab tel garam ho jaaye pyaaz ke yeh rings ko besan mein dubokar iski coating kijiye aur extra besan jhatak dijiye.
6. Dono taraf badami rang ke hone tak in coat kiye hue rings ko tal lijiye aur nikal lijiye.
Besan ke Onion Rings tayyar hain.
