FULL RECIPE:
Deviled eggs
Ingredients
Large eggs- 4, hard boiled
Mayonnaise- 2 tbsp
Dijon Mustard- 3/4 tsp
Hot sauce- 1/2 tsp
Salt- As per taste
Garlic powder- 1/4 tsp
Freshly ground black pepper
Red Chili flakes for garnish
Chives- finely chopped for garnish
Take eggs hard boiled ( boil for extra few minutes than usual and cover them with lid for 5 minutes). Peel the shell off and cut them into halves lengthwise. Take out yolks very carefully not to break the egg whites and put them in a bowl. Now mash the yolks well with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, salt, garlic powder and some freshly ground black pepper and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, you can add some more mayonnaise. Now take spoonful of yolk mixture and fill in the egg whites to make a little heap. To finish, sprinkle some red chili flakes, freshly ground black pepper and finely chopped chives. Enjoy these scrumptious deviled eggs in your snack time!!
Creamy mashed potatoes:
Ingredients
Potatoes- 4 medium
Milk- 1/4 cup
Sour cream- 3 tbsp
Butter- 1 ounce, and, 1 tbsp for garnish
Salt- 1/2 tsp or as per taste
Freshly ground black pepper powder
Garlic powder- 1/4 tsp
Chives or any herb of your choice- finely chopped for garnish
Boil potatoes and peel them and mash very well. In a heavy bottom pan, put butter and milk. As the butter melts put salt and then mashed potatoes in it and mix well. Put garlic powder and freshly ground black pepper powder and mix well. Now turn off the flame and add sour cream to the potatoes. Combine well. Transfer it in a serving bowl and garnish it with some more melted butter on top, black pepper powder and finely chopped chives or any herb of your choice. Creamy and smooth mashed potatoes are ready to be served warm. Enjoy!!
