Ingredients
1 Cup – Besan
1 Cup – Maida (all purpose flour)
1 tsp – Red chilli flakes
1 tsp – Salt (to taste)
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
1 tsp – Ajwain
2 no. – Green Chilli (fine chopped)
1 tbsp – Fresh coriander leaves (fine chopped)
3 no. – Medium size Potatoes
Oil – for Deep fry
Method
Combine the Ajwain, Cumin seeds, Salt and red chilli flakes to besan and maida. Also add fine chopped green chilli and fresh coriander leaves. Mix all these and add little water at a time and make smooth batter. Mix well using a whisk till smooth. Keep this batter aside for 20 minutes. cut the potatoes into thin round slices. Heat the oil in a deep kadhai. Dip one by one potato slices in the prepared batter and drop it in hot oil. Deep-fry on a medium high flame.
