Beet Salad Recipe
Hi Guys, today I’ll show you how to make Beet Salad. Beets are extremely nutritious and high in iron. With a few basic ingredients, you can make a delicious and healthy beet salad.
Boil 5 whole beets in a big pot of water until tender. About 30 – 45 minutes. Drain beets and cool. When cool enough to handle, cut both ends off and peel the beets. Quarter the beets and cut them into small pieces. Slice 1/4 of a medium onion thinly and put in a bowl along with 2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley. Add the sliced beets to this bowl. Add 5 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar, 4 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper and 2 tsps sugar. Mix really well. Let sit for at least 30 minutes or longer. Stir the salad, taste and adjust seasonings to your taste.
